Air India sets new record for non-stop flight over Pacific Ocean

The Delhi-San Francisco(SFO) flight has covered 15,300 kilometres in 14.5 hours non stop . The journey, that is generally operated over the Atlantic has been changed and flown over the Pacific. In this way, Air India has entered the record book for operating the world’s longest nonstop flight. The aircraft took off from Delhi at 4am on Sunday i.e on October 16. It landed in San Francisco at 6.30am on October 16 , according to the local time in SFO.
