Mike Tyson denied entry into Chile due to rape conviction

Former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson faced bitter experience as he was forced to send back to the U.S. after he was denied entry into Chile.

 

Former boxing world champion Mike Tyson was facing conviction for rape in 1992.

 

 

Tyson wanted to grace an awards ceremony in Chile’s capital Santiago.

 

 

As Tyson doesn’t meet requirements for entry pertaining to Chilean immigration laws, he was put on a flight back home.

 

 

 

 

It is to be mentioned that Mike Tyson served three years of a six-year US jail sentence in the 1990s for raping a teenage beauty-pageant contestant.
