Mini machines win 2016 Nobel Prize for Chemistry


The 2016 Nobel Prize for Chemistry has been awarded to a Scottish, French and Dutch-born trio of boffins who have developed the world’s smallest machines. Chemists Jean-Pierre Sauvage of France, Scotland’s Sir J. Fraser Stoddart and Dutch Bernard L. Feringa on Wednesday won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry for their work on molecular machines.
