For the first time a directive has been issued by Indian government.
Central ministers and Members of Parliament (MPs) were directed not to bring their phones while attending meetings.
The directive has come to all Central cabinet ministers and VIPs, from Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).
Consequent to the fact that Pakistan is able to access key information through mobile phones, Modi has decided to caution the ministers.
Varun Gandhi’s case of information leak has also influenced Modi’s decision, it is said.
