Bhartu Mahasayulaku Vignyapthi Review

Plot:
Ram (Ravi Teja) is a successful wine company owner, leading a happy life with his wife, Balamani (Dimple Hayathi). Balamani is deeply devoted and trusts her husband implicitly, believing him incapable of any wrongdoing. When Ram travels to Spain for a business trip, dramatic circumstances lead him to cross paths with Manasa Shetty (Ashika Ranganath). With Manasa, he introduces himself truthfully as Satya. The two grow close. How does this unintended mistake change the life of Ram alias Satya? What twists does his life take? Does Balamani find out about Manasa? If so, how does she react? And finally, how does Ram handle the two women? This forms the crux of the remaining story.

Plus Points:
The Bhartu Mahasayulaku Vignyapthi movie sets off with the story of a man caught between two women. The comedy and conflict in the plot work reasonably well. As ever, Ravi Teja impresses with his impeccable dialogue delivery and expressive body language. In a few scenes, we get glimpses of the vintage Ravi Teja, which his fans will appreciate. The heroines, Dimple Hayathi and Ashika Ranganath, make a mark with their performances. Ashika Ranganath looks charming with her cute and homely appearance and acts well. Dimple Hayathi is perfectly cast in the role of the devoted wife.

The scenes between Ravi Teja, Vennela Kishore, and Sunil provide laughs in places. Similarly, the fun sequences between Ravi Teja and Satya are decent. Ajay Ghosh, in another funny role, tries something new to elicit laughs. The rest of the cast also perform well within the scope of their roles. Overall, the track of a husband deceiving his wife, the related characters woven into this track, their scenes, and finally, Ravi Teja’s performance in his role are engaging aspects of this film.

Minus Points:
Although the story of this film is good, its narration feels too regular and formulaic in parts. What should have been a full-fledged fun ride ends up sinking under the weight of boring, routine scenes. While Ravi Teja’s trademark energy and comedic timing stand out, the lack of depth in situations and forced comedic sequences mean the film fails to impress consistently. Additionally, the director has designed Ravi Teja’s character and its associated scenes in a very regular manner. The interval point also feels forcibly inserted, as if just to provide a supposed shock moment.

The core conflict in the story is also not utilized to its full potential. Consequently, interest wanes during the second half’s play. The director failed to craft a compelling second-half narrative. The mind game between the hero and Tarak Ponnappa could have been built up more interestingly. Even the climax lacks excitement. Despite opportunities to twist the plot more intriguingly, the director chose to conclude the film within his familiar style. While the songs are good, their placement is not optimal. Creating a lead-up to a song just for the sake of having it feels beneath the film’s intended stature.

Technical Aspects:
Director Kishore Tirumala impresses with his staging but could not write a screenplay compelling enough to fully engage with the chosen storyline. The background score needed to be better. The songs provided by music director Bheems Ceciliario are just okay. Cinematography is good, with many scenes shot beautifully. As for editing, editor Srikar Prasad should have trimmed some of the dragged-out scenes here and there. Producer Sudhakar Cherukuri has produced the film without compromise, and the production values are quite good.

Verdict: Bhartu Mahasayulaku Vignyapthi Review
Bhartu Mahasayulaku Vignyapthi’ arrives as a family fun entertainer. While Ravi Teja’s performance, his characterization, and some comedy scenes are positives, the routine screenplay, slow and regular pacing of scenes, and the failure to leverage the hero-heroine conflict effectively work as minuses. Overall, only Ravi Teja’s acting and a few comedic elements manage to connect with the audience in this film.
