Rio- Olympic silver medallist P.V. Sindhu has defeated Chinese Sun Yu in the women’s singles title of the China Open final.
The 21 -year-old Hyderabadi ace player won the first game with the margin of 21-11 and the third game with a margin of 21-11, losing the second game by 17-21.
The Indian seventh seed won the China’s Superseries Premier badminton tournament that lasted for an hour and nine minutes.
The match being played and won at Fuzhou (China) on Sunday is Sindhu’s maiden Superseries Premier title.
