A major disaster was narrowly averted for a flight departing from Hyderabad to Malaysia. This incident occurred on a Malaysia Airlines flight that took off from Shamshabad Airport bound for Kuala Lumpur.
Just 15 minutes after takeoff, flames suddenly erupted in the right engine.
The pilot, noticing the situation, requested permission for an emergency landing.
After circling in the air for a short time, the aircraft made an emergency landing as soon as permission was granted by Air Traffic Control (ATC).
There were 130 passengers and crew on board at the time of the incident.
Fortunately, the plane landed safely, and no accident occurred.
The reasons behind the incident are yet to be determined.
