India has tremendous capacity to combat COVID-19.
WHO Executive Director Dr. Michael J Ryan said India has a tremendous capacity to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic.
Ryan has reminded that India has its experience of eradicating two major pandemics in the country i.e, smallpox and silent killer polio.
WHO Executive Director said India led the World to eradicate these two major health hazards.
He wanted that India should continue to take aggressive action at the public health level to suppress this coronavirus disease.
Further, he said that India should show the way to the world as they have done before.
