Lata Mangeshkar, Asia’s Nightingale, Passes Away- Celebs condolences-2022
India is in grief over the death of Lata Mangeshkar. For about a month, the renowned vocalist was treated for Covid-19 and pneumonia symptoms.
On Twitter, the who’s who of the Indian film business, politics, and sports expressed their sorrow.
Lata recorded her debut Hindi song, “Mata Ek Sapoot Ki Duniya Badal De Tu,” in 1943 for the Marathi film Gajaabhaau.
Later, she worked with some of the most well-known figures in the Hindi music business, like Anil Biswas, Shankar Jaikishan, Naushad Ali, and SD Burman, among others.
She has sung songs in Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, and other regional languages.
She has received the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, the Bharat Ratna, the Padma Vibhushan, and the Padma Bhushan, as well as other National and Filmfare Awards.
