1-IAF to receive six new “Desi” Dornier aircraft; powers of indigenous aircraft explained

A contract for the purchase of six Dornier-228 aircraft for the IAF has been signed by the Defense Ministry. A five-bladed composite propeller and an upgraded, fuel-efficient engine will be installed in the most recent batch of the six aeroplanes. The aeroplane is well-suited for short-haul travel and has short runways, making it perfect for use in India’s island chains and the North East.

The six YouTube channels connected to Khalistani content have been blocked by the Narendra Modi administration. According to PTI, the channels were being blocked for the past ten days because they were broadcasting material in Punjabi. Apurva Chandra, the secretary for information and broadcasting, claimed that the networks were attempting to incite unrest in the border state. The incident occurred a few weeks after Amritpal Singh’s followers, who back Khalistan, stormed an Ajnala police station with weapons and swords to demand the release of one of their aides.
