Presenter Kate McCann fainted during the live broadcast of tonight’s Conservative Party leadership discussion between Liz Truss and Rishi Sunak.
After hearing a tremendous crash, Ms. Truss put her hands over her face and said, “Oh my God,” and the competition was then yanked off the air.

2-Soon, a Union Minister claims, India would offer 5G services.
On Tuesday, Ashwini Vaishnaw, the minister of information technology, stated that four rounds of the 5G auction had already been completed and that a total of approximately Rs 1,45,000 crores in revenue had been anticipated.
“We have to finish this procedure by August 14 and 5G service will launch throughout the nation between September and October,” Mr. Vaishnaw continued.

At a British training camp, he took part in military exercises for the Ukrainian army.
The UK PM was observed handling guns and throwing a grenade while dressed in military gear.
Boris travelled to North Yorkshire, where Ukrainian soldiers are receiving military training from UK army officials.

7-SpiceJet ordered to operate 50% flights for 8 weeks after multiple snags
The aviation authority, the DGCA, ordered SpiceJet to operate only half of its flights for eight weeks on Wednesday.
The Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) issued an order limiting SpiceJet’s number of departures to 50% of the departures authorised under the Summer schedule 2022 for a period of eight weeks in order to ensure a safe and reliable air transportation service.
Based on the results of many spot checks, audits, and the company’s response to the show cause notice, this restriction was put in place.
The ruling stated that it was found that there were insufficient internal safety control and maintenance efforts, which had a detrimental effect on the safety margins, after evaluating the recorded events from April 1 to July 5.
For these eight weeks, the DGCA would be observing the airline more closely.
8- SC upholds power of enforcement directorate to arrest under PMLA
Today, the Supreme Court upheld the ED’s authority to conduct investigations, make arrests, and seize property during a hearing on petitions questioning the legality of certain PMLA provisions.
Because investigation agencies like the ED, Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO), and Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) are not law enforcement, the bench determined that statements made to them throughout the course of their investigations constitute admissible evidence.
“ED personnel are not police officers, according to CrPC.” The bench ruled that declarations made in front of ED employees might be used as evidence.
The Act, however, has been defended by the government on the grounds that it is a unique act with unique procedures and protections.
