Mithali Raj Creates Record



Former Indian skipper Mithali Raj has achieved the rare feat.



She has completed an international career lasting more than 20 years.



Mithali has thus become the first woman cricketer to have achieved the feat.



The right-handed batter has completed 20 years and 105 days of her career in the 50-over format.



The 36-year-old is the only female cricketer, who has played ODI cricket for over two decades.



  has played so far 204 ODIs.



She is followed by Charlotte Edwards (191) of England, Jhulan Goswami (178) of India and Alex Blackwell (144) of Australia.



Mithali, who retired from T20I cricket last month, played 10 Tests for India.



She has represented 89 T20Is as well.



Legendary Indian batsman has the longest international career of 22 years and 91 days.



Sri Lanka’s Sanath Jayasuriya is behind Sachin with a career of 21 years and 184 days.



He is followed by Pakistan’s Javed Miandad with a career of 20 years and 272 days.



Mithali comes at the fourth spot.
