Malayalam superstar Mohanlal has been hospitalized due to a severe illness.
He was admitted to Amrita Hospital in Kochi after suffering from a high fever and severe breathing difficulties.
Mohanlal had recently participated in the filming of the big-budget movie ‘L2: Empuraan.’
After completing the Gujarat schedule, he returned to Kerala a few days ago.
In addition, he was involved in the post-production work of his directorial venture ‘Barroz.’
The hospital treating Mohanlal released a statement saying that he requires five days of complete rest.
They advised him to avoid crowded places until he fully recovers.
Amrita Hospital’s statement mentioned that Mohanlal was suffering from a high fever, respiratory issues, and myalgia when he was admitted.
They also revealed that he has contracted a viral respiratory infection.
