Italy’s Lamont Marcell Jacobs wins Men’s 100m Gold at Tokyo 2020 Lamont Marcell Jacobs of Italy won the men’s 100m gold medal in the Tokyo Olympics, ending the 13-year reign of retiring Jamaican star Usain Bolt. Jacobs, 26, broke a European record of 9.80 seconds in the final on Sunday, with American Fred Kerley taking silver in 9.84 seconds.
