Jhené Aiko kicked off the 2022 Super Bowl with a rendition of “America the Beautiful.” She was joined by Gracie Sprout, a harpist based in Los Angeles. NBC mistakenly recognised Mickey Guyton, who performed “The Star-Spangled Banner,” as Aiko and aired her instead. Later, NBC apologised for the error.
The Los Angeles Rams will face the Cincinnati Bengals in Super Bowl LVI, which will be held at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.
