The Delhi Rouse Avenue Court has issued orders for the release of BRS MLC Kavitha. The court accepted the bail bonds submitted for Kavitha.
In line with the Supreme Court’s judgment, her husband Anil Kumar and MP Ravichandra provided the sureties.
Kavitha is expected to be released from Tihar Jail shortly. Earlier, the Supreme Court had granted bail to Kavitha.
The bench led by Justice B.R. Gavai, while granting bail, directed Kavitha to regularly attend the trial proceedings and cooperate with the speedy completion of the investigation.
The Supreme Court also instructed Kavitha to submit bonds worth ₹10 lakh for each case related to the CBI and ED investigations.
Additionally, she was cautioned not to attempt to tamper with evidence or influence witnesses.
