Rajinikanth dissolves Rajini Makkal Mandram Rajinikanth, the veteran actor, disbanded his political organisation, Rajini Makkal Mandram, and relegated it to the status of a fan club on Monday, thus putting an end to his political aspirations. Rajinikanth has said that he would not alter his mind about entering politics and has disbanded his organisation Rajini Makkal Mandram (RMM).  He said unequivocally that he has no intentions to join politics in the future.  The actor said that the RMM, which was founded in 2018, would be disbanded and renamed “Rajinikanth Rasigar Narpani Mandram,” or the Rajinikanth Fans Welfare Forum. Rajinikanth said in December that he will not enter politics due to health concerns ahead of the Tamil Nadu elections.  Rajini is widely known as Thalaivar and has a large fan base among moviegoers.
