CM Revanth Reddy Urges Tollywood to Counter False Narratives
During the celebrations for Pushpa-2’s success, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s name was reportedly omitted by actor Allu Arjun in his speech, prompting criticism from BRS leaders. They alleged that the Chief Minister harbored a grudge against the actor for this reason.
Responding to these allegations, CM Revanth Reddy dismissed them as baseless. “Will I feel offended if someone forgets my name? That’s not my stature,” he stated. The Chief Minister urged people not to believe such false narratives and called on Tollywood to refute such rumors.
Additionally, the Chief Minister emphasized that the film industry has a responsibility to address social issues through its works. He offered to allocate land to the Movie Artistes Association (MAA) if needed and encouraged collaboration between the film industry and the government. CM Revanth Reddy reiterated his support for the cinema industry, emphasizing his desire for its continued growth.
Earlier today, the Chief Minister held a meeting with prominent film personalities to discuss these issues.
