has announced her retirement from T20 Internationals matches.

She has announced ahead of selection meeting for the South Africa tour.

 

 

The veteran India batter played 89 matches in the shortest format.

 

She is India’s first-ever T20I captain.

 

 

Hyderabad based player scored 2364 runs, the most by an Indian woman.

 

 

In the year 2018, Mithali was dropped from the World T20 semi-final.

 

 

In 2006, the first-ever women’s T20 International match was played in Derby under Mithali Raj’s captaincy.

 

 

Raj led India in 32 T20Is India.

 

 

She played 3 Women’s T20 World Cups in 2012 (Sri Lanka), 2014 (Bangladesh) and 2016 (India).
