Perni Jayasudha Summoned Again Over Missing PDS Rice

Court Grants Bail, Police Continue Probe Against Perni Jayasudha

In the case concerning the disappearance of ration rice from a warehouse, police have issued fresh notices to Jayasudha, wife of former minister and senior YSR Congress Party leader Perni Nani.

Authorities have instructed her to appear at the R.Peta Police Station today (Wednesday) at 2 PM as part of the investigation.

On Tuesday night, police visited Perni Nani’s residence to serve the notices. However, as no one was present at the house, the notices were affixed to the door.

The case involves allegations of missing Public Distribution System (PDS) rice stored in a warehouse constructed under Jayasudha’s name.

Police have registered a case in which Jayasudha is named as Accused No. 1 (A-1). While she has secured anticipatory bail in the case, the court has directed her to cooperate with the police investigation.
