Nellore Tops TDP Membership Registrations with Over 1.4 Lakh Members
The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has achieved a record-breaking milestone in its membership drive. Launched on October 26, the party’s membership registration process has already surpassed 9 million members. New members from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and even the Andaman and Nicobar Islands have contributed to this surge. According to TDP leaders, the membership count is expected to reach 10 million soon.
Although the membership drive was initially set to conclude by the end of this month, party workers’ requests have prompted an extension until Sankranti.
Nellore Leads Membership Drive
Among assembly constituencies, Nellore tops the list with 144,699 members. It is followed by Palakollu (142,482), Atmakur (132,610), Rajampet (129,467), Kuppam (125,255), Undi (113,247), Gurazala (108,077), Vinukonda (104,141), Mangalagiri (102,771), and Kalyanadurgam (98,899), which make up the top 10 constituencies in terms of new memberships.
