Actor Mangal Dhillon was raised a Sikh and is from the hamlet of Wander Jatana in the Faridkot district of Punjab. He started his academic career at Panj Graayin Kalan Government School, where he attended classes up until the fourth standard. Later, he relocated close to his father’s property in Uttar Pradesh, where he finished high school in the Lakhimpur Kheri area. He eventually went back to Punjab, where he finished Kot Kapura’s higher secondary school.
After completing his studies at Muktsar Government College, Actor Mangal Dhillon began his career in theatre. His acting career began in Delhi, and in 1979 he enrolled in the Indian Theatre programme at Panjab University in Chandigarh. His commitment and talent inspired him to seek and successfully complete a post-graduate acting diploma programme in 1980.
