ACB Court Delays Verdict on Chandrababu Naidu’s Custody Petition, Decision Expected Tomorrow

The anticipated verdict concerning Telugu Desam Party President Nara Chandrababu Naidu’s custody petition has faced yet another postponement. The ACB (Anti-Corruption Bureau) court is now set to announce its decision tomorrow at 10:30 a.m.

This repeated deferral has heightened public interest and anticipation. Legal experts note that since the court has reserved its verdict, a decision could come as soon as tomorrow or potentially be delayed until Monday.

The court concluded arguments regarding the custody petition yesterday. At the end of the hearing, the judge initially stated that the verdict would be declared today in the morning. However, it was first pushed back to 4 p.m., and then postponed again. The judge confirmed that the judgment would be pronounced tomorrow.

A petition for Chandrababu Naidu‘s custody has been filed in the ACB court by the CID (Criminal Investigation Department). When arguing for custody, the CID lawyer claimed it was essential for uncovering more details in an ongoing skill development case. In counter-argument, Chandrababu’s legal representation stated that sufficient investigation had already taken place at the SIT (Special Investigation Team) office and argued that, given the political nature of the case, further custody was unwarranted.
