1-ISRO Sun Mission launch with PSLV from Sriharikota was successful, according to Aditya-L1.
On Saturday, September 2, ISRO successfully launched Aditya-L1, India’s first solar mission, from Sriharikota Spaceport. Seven payloads are carried by the spacecraft to conduct real-time studies of the sun and its effects on space weather. Aditya-L1 will be positioned in a halo orbit 1.5 million kilometers from Earth, at Lagrangian Point 1.
This will enable continuous monitoring without interference from eclipses or occultation. In addition to other goals, the project aims to investigate the dynamics of the solar atmosphere, solar wind acceleration, and solar corona physics. The Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle from India, in its XL version, will be used for the launch.

3-CBI files charges against 3 detained railroad employees following the Balasore train accident
