AP CID Registers Case Against Actor Posani Krishna Murali
The Andhra Pradesh CID has registered a case against actor Posani Krishna Murali. The case was filed based on a complaint from Bandaru Vamsikrishna, a TDP leader and representative of the State Telugu Yuvatha.
In his complaint, Vamsikrishna alleged that during a press conference held in September of last year, Posani made inappropriate remarks and spread false information about Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.
Vamsikrishna stated that Posani’s comments were defamatory and intended to tarnish the image of the Chief Minister.
He also claimed that Posani’s remarks could potentially incite discord among different social groups. Following this complaint, the CID registered a case against Posani under sections 111, 196, 353, 299, 336(3)(4), 341, and 61(2) of the BNS code.
