This Union Minister’s Parents Continue To Work As Farmers, Graze Cattle-Viral Today Dr. L Murugan was appointed as a Union Minister of State earlier this month when Prime Minister Narendra Modi reshuffled and enlarged his Cabinet. His old mother Varudammal, along with other labourers, continues to remove weeds in the fields, while his father Loganatham brings the sheep out for grazing. They have no intentions to go to Delhi and are content to work and make a living.
