‘SNL’ Pays Tribute To Emmy Winning Writer John Bowman

‘Saturday Night Live’ pays tribute to Emmy-winning former writer John Bowman, who died at the age of 64.

A tribute card for Bowman, who died suddenly at home on December 28 at the age of 64, came just before the show turned to goodnights.

Bowman was a writer for the NBC sketch programme during season 14 (1988-1989), and was a member of the team that won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series in 1989, along with show creator Lorne Michaels, Phil Hartman, Mike Myers, Conan O’Brien, Bob Odenkirk, and others.
