Two New Judges Appointed to Andhra Pradesh High Court
The Andhra Pradesh High Court has received two new additions to its judiciary. President Droupadi Murmu has officially appointed Avadhanam Hariharanatha Sharma and Dr. Yadavalli Lakshman Rao as Additional Judges of the court. This development was confirmed through an official notification issued by the Ministry of Law and Justice.
Both judges will serve a term of two years as additional judges. The appointments were approved following the recommendations of the Supreme Court Collegium, which convened on January 11 to discuss the proposal.
This decision is part of an ongoing effort to strengthen the judiciary in Andhra Pradesh and ensure the efficient administration of justice. The appointments have been welcomed as a significant step in enhancing the capacity of the High Court.
