Asian Games 2023: PM Modi Lauds Winners
India is flying the banner of victory like never before in the Asian Games. Indian athletes are reaping the harvest of medals. India stood fourth on the list with 100 medals. Indian athletes won 25 gold medals, 35 silver medals, and 40 bronze medals.
India bagged three gold medals in archery and women’s kabaddi on Saturday morning. Jyoti Vennam and Praveena Ojas won gold medals in the archery category.
The Indian women’s kabaddi team won the gold medal after defeating the Chinese Taipei team. With this, 100 medals have been added to India’s account on the list.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi termed this a memorable victory. He congratulated the athletes who brought the awards to India. A memorable victory for India in the Asian Games 2023. Indians are excited to reach the milestone of 100 medals.

He said that he is looking forward to hosting the Asian team on the 10th of this month.
China leads the Asian Games 2023 with 354 medals. Japan followed with 169 and South Korea with 170 medals.
