Both of them, along with others, assisted the actor in summoning an ambulance at the critical hour, thus saving his life.
The manner in which they assisted the actor on a humanitarian level has become the buzz of the town.
They were honoured at the Chiranjeevi Blood Bank, according to reports.
Sai Dharam Tej is getting treatment at Apollo Hospital in Jubilee Hills and is now in the intensive care unit.
According to the physicians, he is on the state of recovery.

One of his buddies, Syed Asif, said that they couldn’t recognise the actor after the accident since his face was covered in blood.
According to Syed Asif, they helped him on humanitarian grounds.
He said that they had been informed that the Mega family will be visiting them soon.
