Reports on social media alleging that prominent spiritual speaker and Andhra Pradesh government advisor Chaganti Koteshwara Rao was insulted in Tirumala have been refuted by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD). Addressing the issue, the TTD issued a detailed clarification.
According to the TTD, Chaganti was scheduled to deliver spiritual discourses at the Mahati Auditorium in Tirupati on January 16, as per proceedings issued on December 20. Following cabinet protocol privileges, arrangements were made for his darshan of Lord Venkateswara in Tirumala on January 14.

The TTD further stated that despite having the option to bypass biometric entry near the temple due to his age, Chaganti politely declined this special provision. Instead, he chose to follow the standard queue system like regular devotees, entering through the Vaikuntam Queue Complex for the darshan.
Condemning the baseless rumors circulating online, the TTD emphasized that no disrespect occurred and warned that legal action would be taken against individuals spreading false information.
