Chandrababu and Wife Dine at Anna Canteen after Taking a Token

AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu expressed his happiness over the revival of the Anna Canteen, which provides meals to the poor for just ₹5.

After the Independence Day celebrations on Thursday, he inaugurated the ‘Anna Canteen’ set up at Gudivada Municipal Park.

Along with his wife, Nara Bhuvaneshwari, they served meals at the canteen and later took a token to have the meal themselves.

During their meal, Chandrababu spent some time conversing with the public.

Earlier, the Chief Minister and his wife were warmly welcomed by their supporters. A total of 100 Anna Canteens are being established across the state.

While the canteen in Gudivada was inaugurated on Thursday, the remaining 99 canteens are scheduled to open on Friday.

Nara Bhuvaneshwari mentioned that through these canteens, the poor can have a full meal for ₹5, calling it a grand initiative.

It is also noteworthy that Bhuvaneshwari donated ₹1 crore to this initiative on Wednesday.
