China lands its first rover on Mars

After The United States, China has acquired a second position by becoming the second country to successfully land a rover on Mars with a six wheeled robot named Zhurong.

According to the reports, the robot is likely to spend the next 90 Martian days.

It will study local geology and look for any signs of water or ice below the surface.

The vehicle used a combination of a protective capsule, a parachute and a rocket platform to make the descent.
