Chiranjeevi launches oxygen banks
With the fast increase of Covid-19 infections, India is experiencing an oxygen crisis in many regions of the nation, and there have been several incidents where a lack of oxygen has resulted in the death of multiple Coronavirus patients.
During these trying times, Megastar Chiranjeevi and his son Ram Charan have established “oxygen banks” to help alleviate the medical oxygen shortage.
Through his Charitable Trust, the father-son team has already begun the programme in the districts of Anantapur and Guntur.
Chiranjeevi announced today on Twitter that ‘Chiranjeevi Oxygen Banks’ will open today in Srikakulam, Vijayanagaram, Visakhapatnam, Mahabubnagar, and Kurnool.
“I am grateful to each and every person who is a part of our effort and is working tirelessly to save lives. In his tweet, he stated, “#Covid19IndiaHelp.”
As of today, the Chiranjeevi oxygen bank has obtained hundreds of oxygen cylinders and concentrators, which are being supplied to individuals in need on a war footing.
The crew is delivering oxygen to persons in home confinement as well as patients confined to hospitals.
