Telangana CM Revanth Reddy Plans Davos Visit After Australia and Singapore

CM Revanth Reddy’s Foreign Tour Aims to Boost Investments

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is set to embark on an international tour starting January 15. The CM and his team will visit Australia, Singapore, and Switzerland as part of this trip. A key highlight of the tour is the 55th Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland, scheduled from January 20 to 24.

From January 21 to 23, CM Revanth Reddy, along with IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Special Chief Secretary Ranjan, and other senior officials, will participate in the Davos event.

The Telangana delegation aims to attract significant investments during the conference, building on the success of the previous year’s visit, which secured investment commitments exceeding ₹40,000 crore. These investments are in various stages of implementation, according to industry sources.

Ahead of the Davos summit, the Chief Minister will travel to Australia. While initial plans suggested the tour might begin on January 13, it was later postponed to January 15 to accommodate Sankranti festivities.

Accompanying the CM on this leg of the trip are Government Advisor Jitender Reddy, Telangana Sports Authority Chairman Shivasena Reddy, MD Soni Bal, and Special Chief Secretary Jayesh Ranjan. The delegation will visit Queensland University of Sports to explore potential collaborations.

After spending three to four days in Australia, the CM and his team are expected to proceed to Singapore on January 19. In Singapore, the delegation will study advanced construction techniques for sports complexes and shopping malls. CM Revanth Reddy and Minister Sridhar Babu will also engage with industrialists during their stay.

The final leg of the tour will see the team arriving in Davos to participate in the WEF summit, focusing on attracting additional investments and presenting Telangana as a hub for business opportunities.
