Covid-19 News: Moderna claims their Covid-19 vaccine is effective in children aged 12 to 17

According to a new trial, Moderna’s coronavirus vaccination proved successful in children aged 12 to 17 years old on Tuesday (25 May).

According to Mint, the breakthrough is significant since the vaccination might become the second option for school-aged youngsters in America.

Early next month, the vaccine producer is expected to ask permission from health officials in the United States and other nations to expand the shot’s usage to this age group.

It’s worth noting that the Covid-19 vaccine, developed by Pfizer and its partner BioNTech SE, was approved by the US and Canada earlier this month for anyone over the age of 12.

Moderna said it will ask regulators in the United States and other countries to approve the use of its vaccine in youngsters aged 12 to 17 years old in early June.
