Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan conducted an extensive review on his very first day in office.
The actor turned politician assumed his responsibilities this morning and subsequently held a nearly 10-hour review session with the officials of the Panchayati Raj, Rural Development, and Forest Departments at the camp office in Vijayawada. He inquired about the performance of these departments.
Pawan Kalyan focused on the construction of roads in villages. He provided directives to officials to ensure the provision of basic amenities and to address the scarcity of drinking water in rural areas.
He issued orders to prepare an action plan immediately for the points he discussed. He set a target to resolve these issues within three months, stating that he would conduct another review afterward.
He emphasized that negligence in resolving public issues would not be tolerated.
Later, Chief Secretary to the Government, Neerabh Kumar Prasad, met with Pawan Kalyan.
As soon as he took charge as a minister in the morning, Pawan Kalyan signed the integration of the National Employment Guarantee Scheme with agriculture.
His second signature was on a file related to the construction of Panchayat buildings in tribal villages.
