Dil Raju Denounces Fake News on Telugu Film Industry CM Talks
Prominent Telugu film producer and FDC Chairman, Dil Raju, has expressed dissatisfaction over certain media reports regarding the recent meeting between Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Telugu film industry representatives.
Dil Raju alleged that false news is being circulated about topics that were never discussed during the meeting.
Speaking to the media, Dil Raju clarified that the meeting with the Chief Minister went very well and emphasized that there was “not even 0.5% negativity” in the discussions.
He praised the CM for his positive outlook towards the Telugu film industry and its development.
Misleading Reports on Meeting Discussions
Dil Raju stated, “Topics like benefit shows and ticket rates were not even brought up during today’s meeting. Videos of incidents near Sandhya Theatre were not shown to us by the police. The DGP only mentioned the issue of bouncers and emphasized the need for accountability in such matters.”
CM’s Support for the Film Industry
Highlighting the Chief Minister’s proactive stance, Dil Raju revealed that the CM discussed plans to attract Hollywood films for shooting in Hyderabad, aiming to make the city a global hub for filmmaking. “Just as IT and pharma sectors are vital to Hyderabad, the CM considers the film industry equally important,” he added.
Other Key Points Discussed
The CM also urged celebrities to participate in social service initiatives and suggested that the Gaddar Awards program be organized in collaboration with the FDC. Dil Raju mentioned that the CM shared valuable advice for the future of the film industry and assured that the representatives would work on his suggestions.
Next Steps
Dil Raju concluded by stating that detailed proposals based on the CM’s suggestions would be prepared and presented in the next meeting. He thanked the CM on behalf of everyone present for his constructive guidance.
