Ajay Devgn collaborates with Dil Raju on the Hindi adaptation of the Telugu blockbuster Naandhi
Ajay Devgn and V. Venkata Ramana Reddy aka Dil Raju, both known for their quest of perfection, are teaming up for the first time to put out an enthralling tale.
The two veterans have bought the rights to the 2021 Telugu blockbuster Naandhi for a Hindi adaptation.
Naandhi is a criminal crime drama that was both critically and commercially successful.
“Naandhi is a significant film, revealing some flaws in the executive branch,” says producer Ajay Devgn.
The original Telugu rendition was powerful and hit a raw nerve.
Dil Raju and I have agreed to collaborate on recreating this film in Hindi in order to reach a wider audience.
It’s still early days. The script is nearing completion.
I may be able to reveal more once we have the cast and key talent in place.”
Dil Raju, the producer, says, “Naandhi is a film on a really important subject, and we wanted to share it with a wider audience.
I am thrilled to have worked on such an important subject with Ajay Devgn.
We are currently in the pre-production stage of the film and will provide additional information as soon as possible “..
The producers, Ajay Devgn (Ajay Devgn Films), V. Venkata Ramana Reddy (Dil Raju Productions), Kuldeep Rathore and Parag Desai (Mumbai Talkeez), are presently finalising the director and star cast.
