GHMC elections manifesto of BJP makes big promises
The BJP on Thursday released its manifesto concerning the GHMC elections.
After the ruling TRS party announced a slew of sops, the saffron party has made the manifesto colourful.
Former Maharastra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavi along with senior party leaders in Hyderabad has released the manifesto of BJP ahead of the GHMC elections 2020.
The party has pledged to create 28,000 jobs, free transport for women in city buses and metros.
BJP in its manifesto has announced to scrap Layout Regularisation Scheme (LRS) after coming into power in GHMC.
On Layout Regularisation Scheme, the party said they will lessen the burden of people to the tune of Rs 15,000 Cr.
BJP has assured to provide 1 lakh houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana scheme.
It has also promised to give financial assistance of Rs 25,000 to those affected with recent flood, and Rs 15,000 to those who already availed Rs 10,000.
The BJP said it will raise the KCR government giving Rs 10,000 as flood-relief compensation to Hyderabadis to Rs 25,000.
Minister KT Rama Rao has challenged the BJP government at the Centre to do it without having to win GHMC polls.
The Saffron party said In keeping with the Centre’s Jal Jeevan Mission, there will be provision of taps and free drinking water to all houses.
