JC Prabhakar Reddy’s Comments on Madhavi Latha Trigger Political Row
Tadipatri: Tadipatri Municipal Chairman JC Prabhakar Reddy has issued an apology for his controversial remarks on actress-turned-BJP leader Madhavi Latha during a New Year celebration event.
His earlier comments, where he referred to Madhavi Latha using an inappropriate term, sparked widespread outrage and criticism.
JC Prabhakar Reddy, acknowledging his mistake, admitted that his remarks were inappropriate and were made in the heat of the moment. He publicly expressed regret and offered an apology to Madhavi Latha.
The controversy began after Madhavi Latha made a statement cautioning women against attending the New Year celebrations at JC Park in Tadipatri, alleging that the park might not be safe for women due to anti-social elements.
Prabhakar Reddy reacted strongly to her comments and made harsh statements in response.
The issue quickly escalated, turning into a conflict between JC Prabhakar Reddy and leaders of the Andhra Pradesh BJP. Several BJP leaders openly condemned Prabhakar Reddy’s remarks, demanding accountability.
