Noted writer Kalipatnam Rama Rao dies

Kalipatnam Rama Rao, often known as KaRa Master, a famous literary luminary, has died.

He was 97 years old.

Telugu literary figures and other celebrities have expressed their condolences on the writer’s demise.

The writer, according to sources, had been suffering from age-related problems over the preceding several days.

The prominent Telugu tale writer has received the Sahitya Akademi Award from the Central Government.


KaRa Master, who was born in the Srikakulam District in 1924, achieved to prominence in 1964 with his narrative ‘Yagnam,’ a satire of feudal culture.

In 1997, the previous instructor established Katha Nilayam (Library).

It is a treasure trove of rare Telugu literary works authored by a diverse range of writers from around the state.
