From Ajith to Kamal Haasan: Actors Push to Remove Star Tags
Prominent actor Kamal Haasan has made a significant decision, urging his fans not to attach any star tags before his name. Kamal’s followers have often referred to him using titles like ‘Ulaga Nayagan’ (World Leader) and ‘Andavar’ (God).
However, he has requested that going forward, everyone – including fans, media, and the film industry – simply refer to him as Kamal or Kamal Haasan, without any prefixes or titles.
He made this appeal through a note posted on the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter).
Previously, actor Ajith Kumar made a similar request, asking that fans refrain from using star tags like ‘Thala’ before his name.
Ajith requested to be addressed as Ajith, Ajith Kumar, or simply AK.
