“We Fear Nothing”: KTR on Congress Allegations Before ACB Inquiry

“Faith in Judiciary, Ready to Face All Cases”: KTR’s Strong Stand

Hyderabad: Ahead of his appearance before the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), BRS Working President and Telangana IT Minister K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) left his residence and proceeded to the ACB office. Accompanied by his lawyer Ramachandra Rao, KTR addressed the media before heading for the inquiry.

Speaking to the media, KTR strongly condemned the opposition’s allegations, calling them baseless. He said, “As a son of Telangana, a leader who fought for statehood, and as a soldier of KCR, I have always worked to enhance Telangana’s prestige and put Hyderabad on the global map. Formula E car racing was organized to improve the state’s image.”

KTR emphasized that during the ten-year rule of the BRS government, he and his family did not indulge in corruption. “We did not award lucrative contracts to relatives or buy luxury vehicles using illicit gains. I have not earned even a single rupee through corrupt practices,” he stated.

He criticized Congress for attempting to tarnish his image through false accusations. “Congress is trying to gain political mileage by slinging mud at us. Revanth Reddy’s diversion tactics won’t work. They want to harass me by filing cases, but we are not afraid. Let them file as many cases as they want. We believe in the judiciary and will fight this legally.”

KTR denied any involvement in quid pro quo activities and accused Congress leader Revanth Reddy of engaging in low-level politics. “Unlike Revanth Reddy, I am not a criminal caught red-handed. Truth will prevail. As KCR’s son, I will stand by my principles. If necessary, I am ready to sacrifice my life for Telangana,” he asserted.
