2-BSF downs a Pakistani drone along the border near Amritsar and completes the recovery

In Punjab’s Amritsar district, the BSF shot down another drone that had come in from Pakistan. The incident happened barely two days after a nearby occurrence of a similar nature was reported. According to the officials, the drone was shot at by the soldiers when they spotted it smuggling into Indian territory close to the village of Chaharpur.

3-India opens its first private space launchpad; ISRO adds a partner to launch rockets.

As soon as the first launchpad run by a startup was inaugurated, India’s space industry took off. The inaugural event of its kind was directed by ISRO Chairman S. Somanath in Andhra Pradesh.

At the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota, the launchpad created and run by space company Agnikul Cosmos has been inaugurated.

The Indian Institute of Technology-Madras served as the startup’s incubator. Before the end of this year, Agnikul Cosmos intends to launch its customizable Agnibaan rocket from the recently opened centre in Sriharikota.
