1- The US Navy releases photos of debris from a Chinese spy balloon

This past Saturday, US fighter jets shot down what they believed to be a Chinese spy balloon over the Atlantic Ocean, and on Tuesday, the US Navy released photos of the recovery operation.

Numerous photographs of the balloon’s large debris being loaded into a boat were posted on Facebook by the United States Fleet Forces Command.

CBI agents from Telangana flew a chartered accountant who had worked for KCR’s daughter K Kavitha to Delhi, where he was arrested in connection with the Delhi liquor policy case. The CBI claims that the “South Group” was represented in court by K Kavitha’s former auditor, Butchi Babu. After a CBI probe was ordered by the capital’s Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena, a representative of the BJP-led central government, the AAP government withdrew the policy last year.

8-As Assam continues its crackdown on child marriage, eight temporary prisons have been built.

Workers were busy shovelling, and dozens of asbestos sheets were strewn about as they prepared to turn the grassy Silchar ground into a temporary prison for those detained in the crackdown against child marriage. The massive crackdown on child marriages in the state has led to the arrest of over 2,500 people. According to police sources, the makeshift prisons will be operational within the next day or so.

9-India Sends Fourth Indian Air Force Plane to Turkey for Earthquake Relief

India has continued its aid to earthquake-stricken Turkey by sending a fourth Indian Air Force plane with supplies and rescue workers. A tweet by Ministry of External Affairs spokesman Arindam Bagchi confirmed that a medical team of 54 Indian Army personnel and various pieces of equipment had been sent to Turkey via the fourth IAF aircraft.
