Following the resignation of a Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) MLA from the Assembly, alleging personal reasons, BJP MP Nishikant Dubey announced that Hemant Soren, the Chief Minister of Jharkhand, would shortly step down and be replaced by his wife Kalpana.
