On the occasion of Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao’s (NTR) death anniversary, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and TDP General Secretary and State Minister Nara Lokesh paid heartfelt tributes to the party’s founder and legendary leader.

Chandrababu Naidu, speaking on the platform X, hailed NTR as a transformative leader who illuminated the lives of the underprivileged through his welfare initiatives. CM Chandrababu praised NTR as an egalitarian who gave representation to marginalized and weaker sections in governance. Chandrababu urged everyone to remember NTR’s unparalleled contributions to society and honor his memory.

Nara Lokesh, reflecting on his grandfather’s legacy, described NTR as a phenomenon and a revolution. “NTR is not just a name, but a movement that represents the pride and strength of the Telugu people,” Lokesh said. He lauded NTR’s dual legacy as a cinematic icon who reigned on the silver screen and as a visionary political leader.

Lokesh also echoed NTR’s philosophy of treating society as a temple and its people as gods, highlighting his grandfather’s deep connection with the masses. Lokesh expressed his personal admiration, stating that NTR remains an eternal source of inspiration for him.
