Pearl V Puri, a Naagin 3 actor detained under POCSO for allegedly raping a young girl in Mumbai.
Naagin 3 renown Pearl V Puri was detained on Friday under the POSCO Act by Waliv Police in Vasai for allegedly raping a juvenile girl.
Along with the TV star, five other persons have been detained and are being questioned by police.
According to sources, the event occurred some time ago, and the 17-year-old minor victim, together with her mother, went to the police station and filed a complaint under Section 376 (rape) of the IPC and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO) Act of 2012.
Pearl V Puri was apprehended on Friday night after the victim and her family filed a complaint with the Malwani Police Station.
The girl alleged that she was raped in a vehicle and then repeatedly raped by all of the defendants.
Pearl has been appearing in daily sops for more than nine years.
He made his television debut in 2013 with Dil Ki Nazar Se Khoobsurat. However, he shot to prominence with Phir Bhi Na Maane Badtameez Dil.
There has been no going back for the actor since then.
He later appeared in Naagin 3, Naagarjuna Ek Yoddha, and Bepanah Pyaar.
His most recent performance was Brahmarakshas 2, in which he played Angad Mehra.
