Minister Ponnam Prabhakar Assures Rythu Bharosa Payouts Despite Financial Issues

Amidst growing criticism from opposition parties regarding the alleged cessation of the Rythu Bharosa scheme, Minister Ponnam Prabhakar made key announcements. He declared that the government will resume disbursing the benefits of the Rythu Bharosa scheme across the state starting from January 26.

Additionally, the financial assistance under the scheme has been increased from ₹10,000 to ₹12,000. Despite financial challenges, the government has decided to enhance the aid amount, Prabhakar clarified.

The minister further mentioned that no new ration cards had been issued for the past ten years. However, the government is set to start issuing new ration cards from January 26.

He also stated that the ongoing survey for Indiramma housing is being conducted in a transparent manner. A total of 3,500 houses will be allocated for each constituency under this scheme.

The announcements were made in response to opposition allegations and are expected to provide relief to farmers and beneficiaries awaiting government support.
